Dr. Kristin PerretKristin A. Perret, Ph.D. is a Clinical Psychologist, specialized in children, adolescents, emerging adults, and families. Dr. P trained at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. She is Co-Founder of TMS Long Island, Corp. and SMPIL Consulting, Ltd. and is in private practice in Westbury, NY. Dr. P utilizes evidence-based interventions (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT); and, now, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). She has a collaborative process of treatment planning, progress assessment, and goal setting. Dr P. capitalizes on strengths that you enter therapy with to cultivate coping skills and change that feel like a natural extension of you, as a unique individual. Dr. Perret is proud to be a part of this family-owned and -operated business, with her brother Stephen M. Perret, M.D.. She is confident and excited to offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation to those patients who have suffered from incomplete relief of their depression, and she looks forward to walking this next part of their journey together.

Dr. Stephen PerretDr. Stephen Perret is a child and adult psychiatrist. He trained at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Albert Einstein-Long Island Jewish Medical Center Psychiatry program. He subsequently completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry training at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ fellowship program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is the sitting president of the Board of Trustees of the Greater Long Island Psychiatric Society (GLIPS) for 2018-2020. He works as a consultant for many school districts on Long Island, and has worked in the Nassau BOCES system and in private practice since 2008. He believes in an ecletic approach to psychiatry, emphasizing the mind-body connection and incorporating therapy, nutrition, exercise, medication, and complementary approaches, including TMS to address mental health comprehensively.
