Education

Dr. Saleem has been in practice in the Greater Richmond area for over 14 years. He completed his psychiatric training at MCP/Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) in Philadelphia, PA and the University of Connecticut in Farmington, CT. He also completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at Yale University in New Haven, CT. Where he has also conducted research at Yale University and was a sub-editor for a review book in psychiatry. He is Board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both adult and geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Saleem specializes in treating patients over the age of eightenn for a variety of psychiatric issues including, but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, panic attacks, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, impulse control disorders, cognitive disorders and memory problems.
