Geoffrey M. Gabriel, MD, FAPA graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Psychiatry at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Gabriel also completed his Fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from this combined program. He earned his undergraduate degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.

Dr. Gabriel is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and a former member of the Board of Trustees of the APA. He is board-certified by the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry in Psychiatry, Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. Dr. Gabriel has received numerous awards from his peers and professional organizations for his excellence in Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Gabriel is the Medical Director of the TMS Center of Greenville and Poinsett Psychiatric Innovations, PA. He has developed a personalized psychiatric practice that focuses on the whole person. Dr. Gabriel combines innovative biological analysis and testing with the latest treatment modalities. We are the only private practice in the Upstate to offer NeuroStar Advanced TMS therapy. Our areas of practice include mood, anxiety, substance use, post-traumatic stress, grief and loss, and neuro-psychiatric issues related to other medical conditions.
