Education

Dr. Brauer brings over 17 years of experience working with a culturally and economically diverse population in a variety of settings. A native of Northeast Ohio, he received his psychiatry training at the Adult Psychiatry Residency program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, serving as Chief Resident. He has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient care; private practice, community mental health centers; and psychiatric emergency departments in Northeast Ohio. During his career, he has had an exceptional background in psychopharmacology with a keen interest in new treatment modalities including TMS, Spravato, MAT, and clinical trials of novel psychotropic drugs.
