Education

Kayvan Haddadan , MD is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Advanced Pain Diagnostics & Solutions. He is Double Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. As the group’s Medical Director, Dr. Haddadan works to ensure that each member of the group’s multi-disciplinary clinical team is focused on diagnosing and confirming the source of each patient’s pain, and then carefully developing and documenting the most effective treatment plans. Dr. Haddadan’s training and experience enables him to offer some of today’s most innovative and effective forms of minimally invasive procedures to treat pain and depression associated with it, including therapeutic nerve blocks, joint injections, nerve ablations, implantable neuromodulation, discography, TMS therapy, and more. He uses multiple modalities to reinforce his ability to help patients with their pain. Born in San Jose, CA, Dr. Haddadan completed medical school abroad and practiced as a family practitioner in the field of trauma and nonsurgical orthopedics before completing his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at Loyola University in Chicago, IL. He gained invaluable experience while practicing in Wisconsin within pain specialty group as a rehabilitation and electrodiagnostic specialist. He completed an Interventional Pain Fellowship in San Francisco at California Pacific Medical Center in 2005 and has been practicing as a pain specialist in Northern California ever since.

Dr. Haddadan’s research papers have been published in the Journal of Neuromodulation for Pain, and his poster presentations have won national awards and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPM&R), as well as the American Board of Pain Medicine (ABPM).
