Bryon McQuirt, M.D.

Education

Bryon McQuirt, M.D. is a board certified Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist in the greater Atlanta area. He graduated from The University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Sciences, with honors in psychology. After graduating from medical school, Dr. McQuirt completed his internship and residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. During his time in New Orleans, he was awarded outstanding resident in addiction psychiatry and received specialized training in the assessment and treatment of the psychological effects of trauma through the Victims of Violence Program at Louisiana State University. Following completion of his training in New Orleans, Dr. McQuirt completed a year of specialized training in Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University.

Education

Shane Savage, M.D. is triple-board certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. He completed a Bachelors Degree in Biology at Clayton College and State University. He completed medical school at Morehouse School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Savage completed his Internship, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. Dr. Savage was involved in various committees within Vanderbilt Medical Center and served as Chief Resident in his final year of Child and Adolescent Fellowship. Following completion of his training at Vanderbilt, Dr. Savage moved back to his hometown and returned to Emory University to complete a year of specialized training in Forensic Psychiatry.

Dr. McCarthy obtained his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with honors at the University of Georgia. He obtained his M.D. at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed internship and residency training in psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. McCarthy has received specialized training in various TMS techniques/machines at MUSC.
